Who We Are
Bayhan Technologies Inc. ("CivicPermit.Solutions", "we", "us") is a New Brunswick corporation headquartered in Fredericton, NB, Canada. We provide civic software to Canadian municipalities and public utilities.
What We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide through our contact form: name, email address, municipality name, province, estimated population, phone number (optional), solution interest, and message content. We do not currently run analytics on this website. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If we enable analytics in the future, we will use privacy-respecting, cookieless methods and update this policy accordingly.
How We Use Your Information
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule demos, and provide relevant product information. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information with service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our services, under contractual obligations to protect your data.
Platform Data (Municipal Clients)
For municipalities using our platform, data handling is governed by the service agreement between CivicPermit.Solutions and the municipality. Municipal data is hosted in Canadian data centers (Montreal and Toronto). We act as a data processor on behalf of the municipality, which remains the data controller. Access to municipal data is restricted to authorized personnel and governed by role-based access controls.
Data Residency
All platform data is hosted in Canada on infrastructure located in Montreal and Toronto. Our architecture is designed so that municipal data does not leave Canadian jurisdiction. Website analytics and contact form data are similarly processed within Canadian or privacy-compliant infrastructure.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted. Platform data retention for municipal clients is governed by the applicable service agreement and municipal records-retention requirements. We support data export and deletion upon contract termination.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@civicpermit.solutions. For municipal platform users, data access requests should be directed to your municipality, which controls the data. We will cooperate with the municipality to fulfill such requests.
Cookies
This website does not currently set any cookies. If we introduce cookies in the future (e.g., for session management), they will be limited to essential site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Applicable Legislation
We design our practices to align with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial equivalents. For municipal clients, we support compliance with FOIP, ATIA, MFIPPA, PoPA, and other applicable public-sector privacy frameworks as specified in service agreements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
